It is titled by PBS as, “Nas Live From the Kennedy Center: Classical Hip-Hop, the concert film musters the energetic appeal of the profound collaboration and wistfulness of the audible hip-hop Queensbridge fable.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "It’s crazy, you know, I wrote this in the projects in New York City. The film will portray the Queens native’s upbringing, career, and musical background. It will also feature rehearsals, preparation and Illmatic’s journey to Kennedy Center stage. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "This was the first time me as a classical orchestra conductor was going to branch out into the realm of doing hip-hop music and rap music. Children, Goals, and Lawyer: Phaedra Parks Announces New Modeling Career; Signs With Wilhelmina Models @balleralert Phaedra Parks Announces New Modeling Career; Signs With Wilhelmina Models- blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since being dismissed from the cast of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” PhaedraParks has added a new gig to her longstanding career in the industry. According to Us Weekly, the lawyer-turned-reality star-turned mortician has now kicked off her career as a model. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The publication caught up with the newly named Wilhelmina model to discuss her new career move, her body, and her goals and inspirations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I think I’m the face of ‘yes you can,’” Parks told the publication. “I’m a small town girl who has followed her dreams. Yes you can be a mom, yes you can be a lawyer and yes you can be a model. When the opportunity presented itself some people asked me ‘Why?’ and I said ‘Why not?’ A supermodel started this company and she wanted to give the power back to the women and I think I stand for the same things. I have the opportunity to show people that beauty can come in every size, shade, color, and age. It’s exciting and an adventure.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Parks then went on to discuss how she felt about representing an “under-served market,” where she explained that in this time, “women need to be empowered to stand in their truth, to be different, dare to be diverse and stand up in times of controversy.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When it comes to the particular campaigns she wants to focus on, the mother-of-two explained that she would love to be the face of a skincare or cosmetic line. However, she doesn’t mind showing some skin for the camera. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I don’t mind baring it all, I have been wearing g-strings and baring it all really every season for seven years. I had two children on national TV. I love nudity! I’ve bought a lot of exotic entertainers on the show, so I love my body and I’ve got curves. I’m a mother of two, so I’m not perfect, but I have no problem getting naked.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As things turn around in her life, from her being fired to her divorce, Parks has finally started to be happy with who she is. And now she believes, she is getting better with time.

Being Alone, Bad, and Comfortable: GOOD SEX CAN STRETCH A BAD RELATIONSHIP FOR A LONG TIME This post is for grown folks ONLY because errbody says they want their next relationship to be their LAST one but reality is not everybody is ready! And you know what that's okay. Nowadays too many women refuse to take ANY responsibility for their actions, it is an epidemic! Rather than self reflect they're comfortable playing the victim, blaming men and we already told you where blame leads, so that's on you, we're looking for a few women, only a few who genuinely want to be loved and cherished next time round, first of all we want you to look back at every single relationship in your life where a man didn't have serious intentions, situationships, textuationships, with minimal effort or when you slept, cooked, lived with him for years without him putting a ring on it, was it you the woman who drew a line and left after you decided enough was enough? Or was it him the man who woke up one day and apologized for disrespecting you and started treating you like a Queen? Be honest... because everyday we say "What about the men?" Yeah men do need to address each other tbh. But we are already asking men to be responsible leaders, to provide and to defend us. The unsaid truth is WOMEN have a responsibility to set a standard for themselves (men also but as you've seen in your past relationships in most cases it was YOU who set the standard and left). Men aren't having sex alone there are many women just as willing to have sex with no strings. Ladies if you want REAL CHANGE BE THE CHANGE. If you're sick and tired of meeting the same guys and entering the same type of relationships, for a better outcome, you're going to have to try something different. WAIT for sex. Build a friendship first. Ask questions!!! Who cares if the guy you're talking to ghosts obviously they're not the one God has for you. Blackcitygirl
