Cavs, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Derrick Rose: Derrick Rose Reportedly Wants To Return To The Cavalierss @balleralert CLEVELAND Derrick Rose Reportedly Wants To Return To The Cavaliers – blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After taking some time to reconsider his career in the NBA and recover from a sprained ankle, DerrickRose has revealed that he’s ready to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to Jason Lloyd of The Athletic, just 10 days after leaving the team to debate his future in the league, Rose wants to come back. However, with the team on an 11-game winning streak, “where he fits now remains to be seen,” Lloyd reports, but “The Cavs are expected to have an announcement regarding Rose on Sunday.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Rose’s injury issue dates back to 2012 postseason. However, upon his arrival in Cleveland, the baller had been ready for a fresh start. But, when he tweaked his ankle on Oct. 20, things took a turn for the worse. One month later, the team said Rose would be undergoing treatment on his ankle, with plans to reevaluate in a few weeks, Bleacher Report states. However, just days later, Rose considered hanging it all up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Rose’s decision to take some time off to reevaluate his future, prompted several former and fellow teammates to release statements of support. LeBron James offered his support, saying, “Whenever he’s ready to tell us or whatever, we’re ready for that. You don’t ever fast-track someone’s process of what they may be going through. When they’re ready to talk about it or ready to bring it to the forefront, as his teammates, we’ll be ready for it.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I don’t know what the organization’s stand on that is. That’s different,” he continued. “From us as players, we don’t need an answer from him. We want him to be as great as he can be, off the floor first before he even thinks about being on the floor.”

My little brother and I miss Beebles so much. He’s such a good boy, and our best friend. Let me explain a little bit about my situation. My family was going out of the country, and so, as always, we got someone to look after our cats. However, my stepmom decided to give Chip (or Beebles!) away to a friend to stay with instead because he has a bit of an anxiety problem. My stepmom is an emotionally abusive, manipulative person who has threatened me physical harm a few times. Of course, she did not tell any of us that our cat would be staying elsewhere, and Beebles is my little brother’s cat (not hers!). The only way I heard about Beebles being sent away was from overhearing a conversation. And in a few days, she sent him away while we weren’t home. After I asked her about it, she began threatening me with things like, “maybe he won’t come home” every once in awhile. I was really worried about Beebles being separated from the other cats in the house. He and his sister are very close, and separation anxiety between siblings can be dangerous for cats. Then my family went out of the country for two weeks. By the end of the trip, my little brother asked when his cat was going to be coming home. My stepmom dropped the bomb that she had already decided herself that he wasn’t coming home. My little brother and I cried about it, but vowed to actually talk to her later. However, politely asking her about it a few days later resulted in my brother and I both having panic attacks on the back porch, and afraid to sleep or go in our house. She accused us of not loving him, and not taking care of him, and tried to gaslight us into believing that we were horrible people who did not love our cat and THAT’S why she stole him. Which isn’t true in the least. My cats are my absolute life. I love them more than I can possibly express, and that accusation really hit me the hardest. I love Beebles so much. It was so horrible to hear her say such lies. She also made the situation all about herself, and how she was ‘the only one who took care of him’, even though I’m the one who cares for the cats when I’m at my dad’s house. Upon me telling her no matter what she thought, it was wrong for her to get rid of Beebles without telling us because we never got to say goodbye, she admitted to hating Beebles because of his anxiety disorder. She also tried to turn our own bio dad, who loves Beebles and also wants him back– against us. His children. She made herself the victim and tried to pretend that we were all ‘turning against and torturing her’. She physically won’t let Beebles back into the house now, even though all of HER pets have remained at home. She screams at us and causes panic attacks when we ask about him. Even my dad knows that what she’s doing is incredibly wrong and wants Beebles back. Beebles is such a good cat, and I love and miss him so much. Not to mention he was adopted as a way to recover from our parents’ messy divorce. My stepmom does not see that what she did was wrong at all, and that really hurts. In any case, please please please please please take a moment to sign our petition. It will help show my dad that other people care about me getting Beebles back, and motivate him to be the authority figure against my stepmom and get Beebles back to our house. It will also show my stepmom that, no matter what she thinks, what she did was unjust, as shown by the voices of you all. My brother and I miss Beebles so much. He said this isn’t even talking about homosexuality. That the bible never actually says homosexuality is wrong. What that passage means is this: Women were treated as subservient and it that you shouldn’t treat other men as subservient, like they are beneath you. It is not talking about homosexuality. If it was, it would say it outright since the bible lists other things outright. I take the word of a monk who have studied the bible extensively more than a self proclaimed Christian. The above text, I would like to point out is from the point of view of this translation of the original Hebrew. I spoke with my cousin’s rabbi on the matter and his response was different, saying that it was a mistranslation. See, the true translation says that a man shall not lie with another in the bed of a woman, which is to say, the Hebrews had a shit ton of rules about when a man was or was not allowed in a woman’s bed and private quarters (including, if she didn’t want you there, you weren’t allowed there. Hebrew women were also allowed to divorce their husbands and the image of the ‘oppressive Hebrew people’ is an image that was propogated by Christianity which, historically speaking, doesn’t treat the Jewish people too well and liked to paint them as being rather barbaric and backwards and cultish with their traditions, which, another piece of fun info, their traditions were one of the main reasons why the Jewish people were less likely, in medieval times, to die of the plague. Because washing your hands and avoiding the dead and vermin and the like was a lot of help. Of course the Christians persecuted them for not dying but that’s another matter. I’m sidetracked). So the verse is literally saying ‘Don’t fuck in some lady’s bed because that’s just goddamn rude’ Also, whenever a Christian brings the book of Leviticus up, you should feel free to point out that these are rules that were given to make the Hebrew people prepared for when the son of God came to earth. In Christianity, it’s believed the son of God was Jesus. So by following the rules set in Leviticus or pushing them as things we should follow, they’re saying that Jesus was not the son of God, and that Jesus did not, in fact, die for our sins. Jewish people believe, in their faith, that the son of God hasn’t yet been born, so many choose to follow these rules. Most people of course roll their eyes when I explain the translation of the verse (full breakdown found here) but it’s always fun to point out the nature of the rules in Leviticus and the implications of following them.  I’m a theology student and I am on the verge of crying because of how accurate this commentary is. Historical context is simultaneously the most interesting and most important part of interpreting any texts.  Most religious people seem to base their beliefs on things that are severely mistranslated. I wish they would do their research before using the bible for hate. I studied theology extensively and was going to become a theologist until I switched majors. The above commentary is 100% accurate and what I try to stress in a lot if conversations with Bible Thumpers. Jesus also affirms the homosexual relationship between the Roman Centurion and his “slave”. The particular Greek word used to refer to this special slave was “pais”. Greek language studies and contexts show that a “pais” was a male love slave. Regular slaves were called “dolos”. The Centurion makes this distinction clearly when he asks Jesus to heal his slave (pais), and then to prove his status he tells Jesus that his slaves (dolos) go when he tells them to. But this slave (pais) was special. He was the Centurion’s lover. Hearing this, Jesus was so amazed he says he had not found ANYONE ELSE who had such great faith. He then blesses the Centurion and heals his male lover. Matthew 8:5-13 THIS IS WHAT THE BIBLE REALLY TEACHES ABOUT SAME SEX COUPLES. In short, the English adaptation is a mistranslated farce. ^^^^this reblogging for the comments ^^^^^^ EXCUSE ME WHILE I REBLOG THIS FIFTY MILLION TIMES

So the verse is literally saying ‘Don’t fuck in some lady’s bed because that’s just goddamn rude’
Also, whenever a Christian brings the book of Leviticus up, you should feel free to point out that these are rules that were given to make the Hebrew people prepared for when the son of God came to earth.

Matthew 8:5-13
THIS IS WHAT THE BIBLE REALLY TEACHES ABOUT SAME SEX COUPLES.
In short, the English adaptation is a mistranslated farce.
