This is the thing. Not only do we not need them, we should actively
eschew them from society. They've been getting pandered to for

If your answer to criticism of your failure of a life is really to be
an apologist for a regime that attacks the free press, puts
children in cages, pushes for war against innocent people,
robs from the poor to feed the coffers of the rich, and
demonizes/alienates/and incites in its followers violence
against minority groups, then maybe you need to pull yourself
up by your bootstraps rather than sucking on the teat of
society, rather than blaming minorities for your own failures.
EDIT: we're really losing because the republicans literally cheat
and steal elections, despite liberal positions being far more
