Notability: Afternoon Gothamites! Today is ColoristAppreciationDay where we celebrate the illustrators that bring brilliant color to our favorite penciled and inked comic books! One of the most notable Batman and @DCComics colorist and my personal favorite is Alex Sinclair @SincColor! Throughout the years, Sinclair has contributed his talent to several DC Comics titles such as Astro City, Justice League, Wonder Woman and Young Justice. @SincColor is notably part of the mighty artist Trinity with penciler Jim Lee @JimLeeArt and inker Scott Williams, working on many Batman titles such as "Batman: Hush" (cover to Batman (Vol 1) 615 from July 2003 presented) and "All-Star Batman and Robin" with a long run on the "Superman" title as well. Recently Sinclair has colored Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti's DC Rebirth: Harley Quinn, Justice League vs Suicide Squad and Frank Miller's variant cover to Dark Knight III: The Master Race 1 and to the cover and interior work of "Dark Knight Universe Presents: The Atom 1" mini-comic in Frank Miller's DKIII with inks by 'Batman: The Dark Knight Returns' Klaus Janson. The colors are the first thing you notice when opening a comic book; colors can set the mood of the story, setting you up for everything else that follows on the page. Everyday is Colorist Appreciation Day on History of the Batman, but today we thank @SincColor and all other colorists that have brought to life the Batman in the past almost 78 years. Thanks for following and we'll have more History of the Batman soon! ✌🏼️💙📖🎨
